Position Details
Location: Belfast
Role: Band 4 Social Work Assistant
Type: Full-time (Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Duration: 3–6 months (with potential for extension)
Key Responsibilities
As a Social Work Assistant, you will:
Coordinate family support services
Collect and report essential information to assist social workers
Supervise contact arrangements
Assist with the transportation of children when necessary
Provide administrative support to the social care team
Essential Criteria
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
Professional experience working with children in a social care setting
Right to work in the UK
A valid UK driving license and access to a car
(NISCC registration is desired but not essential)
