As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Senior Medical Recruitment Consultant to join our expanding medical division.
Overview
This is a high-impact, senior-level role suited to a proven billing consultant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is motivated by building long-term client partnerships, mentoring junior consultants, and maximising earning potential through an industry-leading commission structure of up to 20%.
You will take ownership of a warm and established desk (with scope to develop new business), placing high-quality medical professionals into permanent, contract, and locum roles across NHS and private healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Client Management
- Develop and manage relationships with NHS Trusts, private hospitals, and healthcare organisations.
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through strategic outreach and networking.
- Negotiate terms of business, rates, and service level agreements.
- Provide market intelligence and consultative advice to clients.
Candidate Sourcing & Management
- Source, screen, and interview high-calibre medical professionals (Consultants, GPs, Specialty Doctors, Registrars).
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from initial contact to placement and aftercare.
- Ensure full compliance with healthcare regulations and framework requirements.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records.
Desk Ownership & Revenue Growth
- Take full P&L responsibility for your desk.
- Maximise revenue through strategic placement planning and rate negotiation.
- Work towards ambitious but achievable billing targets.
- Mentor and support junior consultants where appropriate.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in medical or healthcare recruitment
- Proven billing track record with consistent high performance
- Strong understanding of NHS frameworks and compliance standards in Northern Ireland
- Confident negotiator with excellent communication skills
- Commercially astute with a consultative sales approach
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and target-driven
